3. Bronx housing infrastructures

Starting from the idea of intervening on the social housing towers in the South Bronx, the project proposal aimed to use architecture as a tool to reduce the segregation phenomenon between NYCHA complexes and new real estate developments under construction along the Harlem River. The addition of new volumes with a marked horizontal development, through a radical typological correction of the pre-existing towers, seeks to define new relationships between architecture and urban space.
